Judith Bwire

Judith has been trained in traditional dances and vocals in Kenya. She has been working with the Kenyan neo-traditional Luo music band Kenge Kenge Orutu System and the Girama Africa Troupe and toured internationally e.g. in Spain, Israel, Malaysia, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Great Britain and Japan. Currently she is involved in the Dance Montage Project hosted by the Go Down Arts Centre, Nairobi. Judy was recently awarded the Kenya Music Award, released a new album and will be touring with her band throughout 2014.
