Barbara Streil

Barbara Streil was born in Basel in 1977. She studied at the Music Academy in Basel, at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan and – again in Basel – with Adelina Oprean. Since the year 2000 she is the second violinist of the Asasello-Quartett. Barbara Streil graduated from the Hochschule für Musik Cologne with a Master's Degree in Chamber Music (Alban Berg Quartett) and New Music (David Smeyers).
